Red Brick Recording Goes Live!

Red Brick Recording, a cutting edge, fully digital, leading Chicago recording studio, receives a complete website makeover. When we started this project it was decided it was time to move away from the original design that was utilizing frames. What are “frames” you ask? The original web site was developed in the late 90’s using frames which was cutting edge technology for its time. We want to represent the rich history Red Brick Recording has gained over the years while bridging old to new technologies. It was decided that each page should utilize past photographed projects throughout Red Bricks History. This Flash banner will change frequently. Each change represents a piece of Red Brick History.

One major change and addition to the site, besides the overall look, was enabling potential clients the ability to listen to completed projects produced by Red Brick. MP3 players have been created for each genre of recordings. The MP3 player potential means clients do not have to download songs. They only have to click the genre they want to hear. The MP3 player will automatically start playing the selection or the user can choose the song they would like to listen to from the list in the MP3 player itself.

Another major change to the Red Brick site is the Bio page. Each sound engineer can now link to their favorite social sites. Another facet of this addition gives the potential clients the ability to contact each sound engineer individually. This addition saves our clients time. No more having to find a phone number, click the contact and send a message.

This website redevelopment project has provided technology advancement while staying true to the Red Brick Recording history and creativity.
